The HD-FOX T2 is the first Freeview HD set top box from the well respected South Korean technology manufacturer Humax. The HD-FOX T2 is expected to be released early 2010 possibly as early as February 2010.
The set top box is Freeview HD compliant and will bring Freeview’s HD channels in all their glory as well as the usual mixture of Freeview standard definition channels.
The HD-Fox T2 brings auto re tune and has the ability to upscale standard definition pictures to 1080p 50 full HD at 50 frames per second, presenting a smoother picture.
The Humax come equipped with a USB port to allow recording to a external hard disc this feature will not be available at launch and would be enabled by a over the air software upgrade later in the year.
